As the years passed by, something happened that radically changed his life forever; in November of 1989 he received the baptism of the
Holy Spirit and was miraculously healed.
During his years in High School, Gary severely damaged his knees while participating in sports. His knee joints became so loose that any
twisting or irregular movement would invariably cause dislocation and getting them back into their proper place was an extremely painful
task. He was scheduled to have his knees operated on a few months after graduation from high school but his application to attend
aviation technical school had been accepted and not wanting to delay his plans, decided against having the operations. Over the years his
knees became increasingly worse and made even walking any distance a painful event.
In a home group Bible study that he and his wife had been attending, hands were laid on Gary's knees for healing. The following day he
woke up with both knees completely healed and they still are to this day.

From that day on Gary's life took on new meaning with new desires, his life was radically altered from the plans that he had laid out for
himself. Being captured by the holy calling of God, Gary left his 30 year plus career in aviation and began his journey in the plan of God.
Since his own healing, Gary's convictions concerning God's will to heal is unswerving. He has witnessed many times over that same
healing power manifested in others as he has ministered healing in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Gary and his wife Marlene served ten years as resident missionaries in the Russian Far East; traveling extensively propagating the
kingdom of God and are now currently serving in Southeast Asia still ministering the Gospel with signs following.
